NEW SEASONS

Life is one big parade of New Seasons! Right? Just when you feel like you’ve got it all under control, strategy intact, and you start to relax or coast…THERE IT IS; a new season! Now what..?

Actually, new SEASONS bring new OPPORTUNITIES & BLESSINGS. Granted the “unknown “ is intimidating at times, but a good dose of curiosity, courage, and faith makes it exciting!

When my kids started to school, or learned to drive, or left for college, I was amazed at how “natural” the new season began to feel… once I leaned in!

It seems THE LONGER WE RESIST THE INEVITABLE, THE TOUGHER OUR TRANSITIONS WILL BE!!!

I miss my children being home.I wish I could be in Miami, New York City and Shreveport with ALL my kids, all at one time!! I wish my 97 year mom who has lived with us for over 20 years would live to be 125!! I wish our world knew the love, healing & peace of God that transcends all understanding!!

I wish people would stop hating, families would stop hurting and fear would  be completely destroyed by love… But, I’ll never stop praying, believing, rejoicing, reaching out to others and walking in God’s strength and Light!!

Whatever transition you are in, whatever season you find yourself…… KNOW THAT GOD IS WITH YOU! Know that His presence is enough!

And KNOW THAT HE IS ALWAYS DOING SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU CAN SEE OR IMAGINE!!

God IS with you!! Whether you feel Him, believe in Him or trust Him...HE NOT ONLY CREATED YOU WITH PURPOSE & DESIGN, HE HAS A HEART & PLAN FOR YOUR FAMILY!!

I am thankful for YOU in this Thanksgiving week! I think of you all often!  I try to envision your various situations & challenges… BE ENCOURAGED! You’re going to make it THROUGH the tough time challenges in this season!

I’m thankful as we focus on our BLESSINGS,  that HOPE will fill our hearts & minds! I’m thankful we can CHOOSE OUR THOUGHTS, and move forward even in THIS season... toward the dreams in our hearts!!

You’re in my thoughts! I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU!!
